How to choose and wear a headset with glasses

The right fit keeps the earcup comfortable around your frames without giving up a stable seal.

How to choose and wear a headset with glasses

Glasses and headsets can work well together when the contact points are managed. The frame arm should sit in the cushion groove rather than being pressed sharply against the side of your head.

Start with the frame

Thinner, straighter arms are usually easier to accommodate, but the most important detail is where they cross the cushion. Adjust the headset slightly forward or back until the pressure feels even.

Set the headband once

Raise or lower the headband so the earcups sit centered around your ears. If you keep widening the headset to make room, you may be trading short-term relief for a loose fit.

Make comfort a repeatable check

After ten minutes, ask whether the frames are creating one hot spot. If they are, make a small adjustment before the next match rather than waiting for discomfort to build.

Make the next session easier.
